About Us
When our founder, Brent W. Merydith, started this company in 1982, he didn’t leave behind a mission statement — he left behind a note in his desk. We found it after he passed, and it read:
“The job is important, but the people who do the job are even more important.”
Those words became more than a quote — they became our compass. From 1982 to 1993, he built this company with heart, integrity, and respect for the people who show up and do the work every day.
After his sudden passing in 1993, Lorraine Merydith stepped in with their daughter, Tricia, to continue the business he started. Lorraine passed away in 2023, but her spirit and dedication remain woven into everything we do. Our logo is more than a design — it’s a tribute to their shared vision and a daily reminder that people come first.
